Cavite Business Permit Renewal Links by City and What to Update Online
Last checked: October 20, 2026. We re-check these links every December before renewal season.
Most Cavite cities and towns expect business permit renewals within the first 20 days of January, under the Local Government Code. Several LGUs, including Imus, Dasmariñas, Bacoor and General Trias, run online renewal portals. We checked every link below on October 20, 2026. After you renew, update Google, Facebook and your Cavite Biz Hub listing.
This guide is for business owners in all 23 cities and municipalities of Cavite. It links only to official LGU websites and LGU-run portals. We do not copy fees or full requirement lists, because each LGU sets its own and they change. Where we could not confirm a link, we say so and point you to the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO).
When is the business permit renewal deadline in Cavite?
The national rule is in Section 167 of the Local Government Code of 1991 (Republic Act No. 7160): local taxes, fees and charges are paid within the first 20 days of January, or of each subsequent quarter if you pay in installments. For the 2027 permit year, that means renewing by January 20, 2027.
- Imus and Tagaytay both state on their official pages that permits are renewed from January 1 to 20 every year, with penalties after that.
- The same section of the law allows the sanggunian (city or municipal council) to extend the deadline without penalties for up to six months. Extensions are announced by each LGU, usually close to January, so check your LGU's official website or Facebook page.
- Late payment can mean surcharges and interest under your LGU's revenue code. Ask the BPLO for your exact assessment rather than relying on figures you see online.

What documents usually come up when renewing?
Every LGU publishes its own checklist, so use your LGU's list as the final word. On the official pages we checked (Imus, Bacoor, General Trias and General Mariano Alvarez), renewal checklists commonly include:
- Your previous Business or Mayor's Permit, and in some LGUs the official receipt
- Proof of your gross sales or receipts for the past year, such as income tax returns, financial statements or a sworn declaration
- A Barangay Business Clearance
- Other clearances your LGU asks for, which can depend on your type of business and location
If your business name, address or ownership changed during the year, tell the BPLO before you renew. Imus, for example, lists separate services for changes of address, business name and ownership.
After renewing, what should I update online?
A renewed permit is a good moment to check that your details match everywhere people find you. Customers, Google and AI assistants all compare your name, address and phone number across sites.
Google Business Profile
- Check your business name, address, phone number, hours and website. Google's guide to editing your Business Profile shows how to do it on Search or in the Google Maps app.
- If you moved, update the address and expect to verify again. Google says a business that moves to a new address after verification must verify again.
- Keep the name the way customers know it. Google's guidelines for representing your business say your name should reflect your real-world name, as used on your storefront, website and stationery, without extra keywords.
Your Cavite Biz Hub listing
- Not listed yet? Add your business to Cavite Biz Hub.
- Already listed but not managing it? Claim your business so you can keep the details current.
- Upload your new Mayor's Permit. A verified listing on Cavite Biz Hub needs your current Mayor's Permit, your Business Registration (DTI or SEC) and your BIR Certificate of Registration.
- Check that your listing shows the same name, address, phone and hours as your Google profile, and that it sits under the right city. You can browse Cavite cities and towns or all listings.
Facebook page
- Update the address, phone number, hours and website in your Page details so they match your permit and your Google profile.
- If you changed location, post a short update with your new address and a map pin, and pin the post for a few weeks.
Your website
Check the contact page, footer and any location pages for an old address or number. If you do not have a website yet, or need help keeping it and your listings up to date, a Cavite-based team such as Brayne Digital can help.
Why does a consistent name, address and phone number matter?
Google's guidelines ask businesses to represent themselves the same way they are known in the real world, with an accurate address and a phone number the business controls. When your details match on your permit, Google profile, Facebook page, website and directory listings like Cavite Biz Hub, customers are less likely to call an old number or go to an old address, and there is less conflicting information about your business online.
What is a DTI business name and how does it relate to my listings?
If you are a sole proprietor, your business name is registered with the Department of Trade and Industry through the Business Name Registration System (BNRS). Partnerships and corporations register with the SEC instead. The registered name is the one on your permits. Online, Google asks you to use the name customers actually see on your signage and website. If those are different, keep the customer-facing name consistent across Google, Facebook and Cavite Biz Hub, and keep your registration documents ready for verification.
Frequently asked questions
When is the deadline to renew a business permit in Cavite?
Section 167 of the Local Government Code (Republic Act No. 7160) says local taxes, fees and charges are paid within the first 20 days of January, or of each quarter if you pay in installments. Imus and Tagaytay both state January 1 to 20 on their official pages. The law also lets each sanggunian extend the deadline for up to six months, so watch your LGU's official page and Facebook page for any extension.
Can I renew my business permit online in Cavite?
In some cities and towns, yes. When we checked on October 20, 2026, Bacoor, Carmona, Dasmariñas, General Mariano Alvarez, General Trias, Imus and Trece Martires had online portals that loaded, and Naic and Tanza had portals we could not confirm from an LGU page. Some steps, such as payment or picking up the permit, may still happen at the office.
Where do I renew my business permit in Imus?
Imus lists online renewal through its E-BOSS portal at egovcityofimus.ph/ebpls in the BPLO Citizen's Charter. The City of Imus BPLO page and the downloadable forms page on cityofimus.gov.ph have the renewal checklist.
Do I need to update my Google Business Profile if my address changes?
Yes. Google's help page says that if you move your business to a new address after your profile is verified, you must verify your business again. Update the address, then follow the verification steps Google shows you.
Is my DTI business name the same as my Google business name?
Not always. Your DTI or SEC registered name is the one on your permits. Google asks that your Business Profile name reflect the real-world name you use consistently on your storefront, website and stationery. Whichever name customers see, use it the same way everywhere online.
What do I need for a verified listing on Cavite Biz Hub?
A verified listing on Cavite Biz Hub needs your current Mayor's Permit, your Business Registration (DTI or SEC) and your BIR Certificate of Registration. Renewal season is a good time to upload the new permit.
