Markup is how much you add on top of cost. Use it to set retail prices quickly, then check the equivalent profit margin so you do not confuse the two.

Fill cost + markup % to get selling price, or cost + selling price to get markup % and margin %.

FAQ

How do I calculate markup?

Markup % = (Selling Price − Cost) ÷ Cost × 100. Selling Price = Cost × (1 + Markup%/100).

Why does my markup look higher than my margin?

Because markup is divided by a smaller number (cost). Example: cost ₱100, sell ₱150 → markup 50%, margin 33.33%.
